Programs for Area Schools

Timber Lake Playhouse offers educational programs that use the stimulating power of the arts to inspire, astonish and engage. Through partnerships with students and educators at area schools, TLP uses theatre to deepen student learning and enhance teacher practice. The program will include a literacy focus with elementary students, a literacy and character development focus with middle school students, and advanced drama skills focus with high school students.

Programs are held either virtually, on-site or a combination of the two. TLP Teaching Artists will meet with partner teachers to develop programming that fits your classroom, or you can choose from curriculum already developed for the classroom.

TLP is presently working with schools to plan for the 2024 school year. All programs are fee based, but TLP will partner with school districts to write grants to fund all or part of a program. Contact TLP Executive Director, Dan Danielowski at (815) 244-2048 for more information.
