RESIDENT ACTING COMPANY AUDITIONS

Timber Lake Playhouse is currently seeking 14 actors to join our Resident Acting Company, offering a unique professional development opportunity. Resident Company Members (affectionately known as the “Lakers”) will be contracted for 4 to 5 productions, with a compensation of $350 per week, with complimentary housing and meals provided on our recently renovated campus.

This program is designed for emerging performers who are eager to perform in a professional theatre setting. As much as this is an opportunity to grow, this is an opportunity to participate in a professionally operating artistic model while in a carefully curated environment. Each member of the resident company will be guaranteed at least one featured role, providing a significant platform for self discovery and career advancement. Resident Company actors will also take part in our Deck Series, presenting cabaret-style performances throughout the season, and will engage in social media and marketing events over the summer.

We invite passionate emerging artists to apply for this rigorous and rewarding opportunity. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a strong sense of their instrument. Singing, dancing, and acting abilities as well as professionalism and collaboration skills are paramount. Please note that, due to the requirements of our musical heavy season, non-singers and non-dancers cannot be considered. Timber Lake Playhouse is committed to fostering talent and elevating the careers of aspiring actors in a dynamic and supportive environment led with curiosity and kindness.
