Welcome to Timber Lake Playhouse’s Volunteer Program!

We are excited that you’ve selected our theatre to serve your community by sharing your time, energy, and skills. Timber Lake Playhouse provides a vast array of volunteer opportunities for you.

TLP has built a volunteer program of over 180 active volunteers. TLP’s volunteers work as ushers and gift shop clerks. For the past two season, volunteers have helped build sets, construct costumes, paint scenery. They’ve also assisted TLP with fundraisers, events, productions and promoting TLP through their businesses and friends through word of mouth. Volunteers in the program are known as Friends of TLP and are dedicated to supporting Timber Lake Playhouse. Friends of TLP also serve on various board committees.

Below are some of the Volunteer Opportunities that exist at Timber Lake Playhouse. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at (815) 244-2048 or by email at info@timberlakeplayhouse.org for more detailed information. Once we have your email address, we will send you a weekly list of volunteer opportunities during the season.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer and thank you for your service to our community!  Administrative opportunities exist year round. Production and Front of House opportunities are mainly during the season with Facilities at various times throughout the year.
