For 50 years, Timber Lake Playhouse has been dedicated to enhancing the TLP experience for everyone involved.

  • The Playwrights Lab gives writers from all over the country the chance to focus on fresh, new work.
  • The Magic Owl educational programs continue to reach the youth of the area, giving them theatrical experience to explore their imaginations.
  • Each season TLP employs more than 80 artists and technicians who have the opportunity to work with mentors in their professions, including Chicago and New York directors.

    • And now, TLP is making plans for a Technical Theatre building that will house a scene shop, paint shop and props storage. This will allow our scenic artists and designers to be able to work inside for the first time. We currently have no interior space for the construction and painting of large sets.

    But, like everything TLP does, we can’t do it without you…

    Your tax-deductible donation will ensure that Timber Lake Playhouse continues with our mission to offer quality, professional theatre at an affordable price.

    Not only will you be able to see your contribution at work but you will be recognized as a contributor and supporter of professional theatre in your community.

    Donation opportunities:

  • $25,000 or more — The entire new Technical Theatre Building named in honor of you or your business.
  • $5,000 – $10,000 — You or your business named in one of the rooms in the building: scene shop, paint shop or props storage.
  • $1,000 – $4,999 — You or your business name listed on our honorary plaque of those who supported the 50th Anniversary campaign.
  • $50 – $999 — If 1,000 people give $1 for every year that we have existed, we can achieve our goal of another successful 50 years.
