For almost 50 years, Timber Lake Playhouse has been the destination for professional theatre in Northwestern Illinois. Over 900,000 visitors from Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Eastern Iowa and around the nation have enjoyed the rich experiences of musical theatre, hilarious comedies and many of America’s beloved classics since we opened our doors. And each year, more than 7000 children experience the delight of live theater, many for the first time, at Timber Lake.

Ticket sales cover only 70 percent of our operating budgets. The rest is made up by our committed sponsors and by our enthusiastic and generous friends, neighbors, and patrons.
