The “Next Stage” Junior Production
THE LION KING, JR
Workshop Dates: June 17th - July 1st
Performance Dates: July 2 - 6
Our “Next Stage” actors will have the opportunity to do a full theatre “Junior” production. All actors will audition and be cast in a specific role during the first week of the workshop. They will then learn songs and choreography, build sets and props, perfect their parts during the workshop. Participants will receive instruction in vocal technique, acting, stage movement, and auditioning. This workshop and production are open to children ages 5 – 18.
Workshop Fee $100 (includes script & show T-shirt)

High School Intensive
Ride the Cyclone - High School Edition
Workshop Dates: July 8 - 22
Performance Dates: July 23 -27
This immersive experience for high school students will feature workshops in all areas of theatrical production while rehearsing for the new musical, Ride the Cyclone It will be directed by our Education Director with assistance from our Teaching Artists. The HS Interns will be part of the production. The production will be produced entirely by members of the class. . In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived!
The cost of the workshop is $200

Children’s Theatre Workshop
July 6 & August 3, 2024 from 10:00am - 1:00pm
This workshop for the younger theatre lovers is focused on building confidence as participants engage in storytelling games, creating characters, playing theatre games and team-building ensemble activities. The July 6th workshop concludes with a ticket to the matinee performance of the Lion King, Jr.
The cost of each workshop is $50.
